Howe ISD is a 3A school district covering 76 square miles in Howe, Texas. Our community is located sixty miles north of Dallas and twelve miles south of Sherman on Highway 75 in Grayson County. Howe ISD is comprised of one elementary school, one intermediate school, one middle school and one high school, which together serve over 1,200 students in grades pre-K through 12.
The schools of Howe ISD provide quality curricula, co-curricular, and special services to meet the needs of our student population. The faculty, administration and support staff are all committed to high educational standards and to the development of individual potential. The teachers and staff maintain a daily focus in preparing students to realize their options are limitless. Our students are encouraged to reach new horizons through the joint efforts of our community, the Howe ISD Board of Trustees and our educational staff.
